World War II, Willys MB and Ford GPW was only until mid-1945, but remained in the U.S. military inventory decades later. Were replaced by a series of "improvement" 1/4-ton 4x4 truck still the basic design of the models of the Second World War, but with improvements for its modernization. The last race was the M-151 jeep in the number who served in Vietnam, but was replaced by the HMMWV much larger and heavier in the years 1980.
